Suspension question
I have an Ap1 with Tein springs on OEM shocks giving me about a 1" drop. I like the set up the way it is. Its a daily driver and I don't track the car. I do run some back roads at a pretty good pace and the suspension set up I have works fine for that. When I put the car away for the winter I found that one of my rear shocks is leaking. I have been doing some reading and was thinking of getting a set of OEM Honda CR shocks. These seem to be a nice upgrade from the Ap1s. The thing is, they are going to cost me over $600 for the set. I have seen some Ap2 used sets with really low miles(5K-20K) for less than half of that. With the way I drive am I going to be able to tell the difference between the CRs and the Ap2s.

If you already blew one shock, why buy another set of OEM ones? If you keep the car long enough, it's just going to happen again. For the kind of price you're looking at on the CR shocks, have you thought about Konis? They're adjustable, plus you have the option of putting them on the lower perch if you want to lower the car a little bit more.

Well, if you were happy with the setup before and it's relatively economic to repeat it, I'd just go with that again, then :)

with that kind of money i would go with koni shocks over stock shocks
