So what are peoples views on these. They came off a car that had them on it for probably 7/8 years in Ireland, it has low mileage due to the owners being a guy who didn't drive it much and the shop whose demo car it was. I presume it hasn't been crashed as there is corrosion on all 4 coilovers so its hardly had its entire lower arms changed and have no other damage that i can see under it. I cant see any spillage damage either. It has been used on track by the shop and once by the other owner and recently enough twice by me. Tbh if id known they were like this id have not used it!!

I've emailed Tein who are looking over the photos too. Tbh i wanted to sell these on and get coilovers that were more road and track friendly but it seems without a repair they can only be sold for parts and are just scrap. I haven't gotten the front two off yet but a quick look shows they are showing the exact same corrosion.

Has anyone else experienced this with long term ownership of Teins?

Looks.like wear and tear hard use. I wouldnt blame tein though.
