the URGE for Ohlins
I had been looking at different coilovers for a while andafter a lot of searching and reading on s2ki.com I decided to go with OhlinDFVs. I am coming from stock suspension in a '05 AP2 so I don't have anyexperience with other aftermarket coilovers, so the two things that appealed themost to me where 1) single adjustable rebound and compression 2) Ohlins S2000 specificsetup based upon testing.
I had intended to write a review of the Ohlins but I can’tadd any more than has been said by the following: Gernby Review grubinski review Comments by //steve\\ WhatI will add is a review of dealing with URGE and Patrick. In short; prompt, forthright, knowledgeable, helpful, communication, and painless shipping to Canada. Earlierthis year I planned to purchase Ohlins but when it came to purchase time Ilearned that none were available in NA. I dealt with Patrick, he gave me anhonest opinion as to when I could expect them, kept me up-to-date, and answeredmy emails promptly. If you’ve read any of his posts on s2ki you can tell howbusy he is, plus his knowledge and commitment to improve the s2000. Last but not least, videos of my first track day at CTMP (aka Mosport) with the Ohlins. Damn what are you recording your video with to give that awesome overlay. Looks like GT5 lol.

I love Ohlins and love the video:)
|
lol. initially, i thought it's a video game.
|
Incredibly smooth driving!! The DFVs just help control the car and that is evident in your video.
Please share what software made those videos? |
I'm not 100% sure but it looks like Harry's lap timer to me. Doesn't look like he used racerender to combine the front and rear shots.
|
come on man give that software up!
|
It looks like Harry's HotLap Timer with some RaceRender Overlay perhaps.
