Thinking bout buying these buddy club n+. He said he got them off a wrecked s2k. He's letting them go for 500, one has a chip on it and miles are unknown. Should I pass??

Even when they're in mint condition, these aren't particularly good coilovers. With the giant gash, there is no way I'd touch them.

Dampers are something I never would buy used, unless I knew the person, and car they came from. I speak from experience, too many people willing to sell leaky busted shocks to cover the cost of new ones, when they should just be disposed of.

A friend of mine thought he was getting a deal on some zeal coilovers, he ended up having to get them rebuilt, and in the end he saved zero money. Let's just say he could have gotten some KW v3' for an extra $200.
