"Vintage" Tein Ra

"Vintage" Tein Ra
So I'm finally going to be getting my ap1 back on the road and also plan on doing some driving and car control courses with an instructor and then some non competitive for pleasure track driving. I have a set of Tein RA's that i bought new about 10 years ago with only about 2.5- 3k miles on them currently. The car felt like it was on rails during aggressive street driving back then. Are they super outdated compared to todays coilovers in the $2,500-$3,000 range? What do you guys think? Should I get rid of them and get something newer?

I am still rocking old school Tein RSs and I love them. Some day far in the future I may upgrade but only because I would be moving to stiffer springs and the struts would have to be revalved.
I say use them.

"better" seems to be a very subjective term when it comes to shocks. Without a dyno plot of your shocks, it's hard to bring "better" into perspective. here's some light reading:

it's geared toward auto-x, but the concepts apply across the board.
