S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Wow, I agree, you should have driven her home. Cars are meant to be driven but then again I keep my red E30 M3 in the garage and only take her our on nice days.

Congrats on finding a ABP. I'm glad you were able to find what you wanted and I'm also glad I wasn't willing to sell you mine. I would be so regretting it if i had (but at least it looks like it would have been in great hands). Also, the car you did buy only has half the miles that my car has. Enjoy # 405!

Yeah, that shop was sweet. Thanks!

Also, I made a walk-around video for the CR:

May I dare ask which car you prefer driving? CR or Zanardi?

They're both fun in their own little ways. The Zanardi is faster / torquier, and the CR is way more nimble. One thing to note is that the CR's suspension is much rougher than the Zanardi / Type S suspension. Coupled with the lack of sound-deadening and having the windows rolled down (lack of A/C), it's a loud and obnoxious ride (Well, I like it but my wife complains). For being stock, the CR exhaust has a very good tone, much better than the Zanardi and reminiscent of the Integra Type R's exhaust. Lastly, my hard top sqeaks way too much and reminds me of the Targa NSXs, not fun. The Zanardi wins hands down with the hard top.

Skafia, I watched your video and noticed what appeared to be a amp cable and fuse on the battery, did the previous owner install a stereo? Beautiful car that looks to be in perfect shape!

As for the hardtop squeaking, definitely spend some time adjusting it and making sure all of the seals are well greased (Shin-Etsu is the OEM honda grease for the s2000 - https://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04maint.html).

Yes, the previous owner installed an aftermarket stereo and added an amp where the spare tire would go. I've been meaning to remove it, but I actually like being able to stream Spotify over Bluetooth in the car. I'll be sure to get that grease, thanks!
