Add Stereo to Delete CR
#43
It looks normal, you'll need to buy a few parts for the latch mechanism IIRC so that you can easily open and close it. There are a couple screws holding the door shut, they are easily removed and then it's like a non-delete except the spring loaded latch needs a couple little pieces that you can find by digging around on here.

Your taking all the fun out of owning a delete! It's great fun watching a passenger push on the radio door incessantly with no success! I've even had a S2000 person say, "I think your radio door is broken"! He felt about 2 inches tall when I told him it had no radio!

I'm using one from a local car audio shop, designed to be hidden, under the rear tray on the rear bulkhead. It gets an OK signal there while maintaining the DELETE look.
* Not sure why the post above is showing a different screen name? Can a moderator delete it for me?

Matt,
People have added it into the delete models, however all the necessary wiring is not present. The installation isn't too demanding though. The toughest part is getting the speaker wire from the doors into the cabin (it just takes time).
Once those are in, just constant power, accessory power and ground and you're set. Pretty straight forward.

I have a flush mounted Sirius antenna mounted between the hardtop and trunk that gets excellent reception, and oddly enough I can still pick up some standard radio stations with no antenna at all? lol
