As far as the part number, that's the problem with doing a soft top, I don't think the wiring is separate, its intertwined in the entire wiring harness of the car.
Monte (Mchester) ended up getting a donor wiring harness from a salvaged s2000 that he used for his (I believe?) which seems to be the best route.
The problem with wiring direct power to the motors is that the relay needs to be inserted to power to the motors shuts off when they are at their max or minimum in order to not burn out the motors by holding the switch down longer than it needs to be.
