What gaudy changes? The car is almost completely stripped, there are almost no parts left to be non-factory, is there some before picture I'm missing. I see a mismatched trunk which was almost certainly on the car before the wreck and some ugly chrome AP2 wheels, which I'm guessing were mounted when the car was stripped.

Agreed... showed this link to a friend and he said: "Take solace in knowing that your CR just went up in value." Even if true, I still hate to see this happen

there is nothing of value left on that car and they have a price of $6,500, I don't think it is even worth $65.00 ?
