S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Another dumb question.... CR height. Static.

A CR at standstill is the same height as a non CR S2000, even though the CR springs are almost a full inch +/- shorter both front and rear than an 00-01 S2000?

I did the conversion to the CR springs and shocks. Same height. If you want lower, plenty of people have recommended the Swift Spec R springs that can be swapped with the CR springs. I'm considering that, but since I do a lot of mountain driving, I prefer to keep it at it's current height now.

Nope, thinking lower perch (-1/2) on my Koni yellows.

The CR springs are in fact shorter than every other OEM s2000 spring produced by Honda/SHOWA.

Front springs are 79% more stiff over MY00-01 and rears are ~20% more stiff than MY00-01.

With a lighter chassis and stiffer suspension it likely balances out ride height between the AP1 and CR, however I've never measured both cars side by side.

This is correct. In fact, some people swear the CR is ever so slightly higher.

I always thought the CR sat higher than non-CRs. I just re-installed the OEM CR suspension. It certainly looks like it.
