Best springs for CR

I track my CR and would like your input on what's the best springs setup for track use. No, I don't want to go with coilovers. ;)

Why would you go with just springs? Are you planning on using the OEM shocks? If so, the OEM shocks are specifically valved for the OEM springs. In my opinion the only way to go with CR is KW Clubsports, Tein SRC's or another similar proven coilover. The CR's suspension is perfectly capable out of the box. Is there a reason you don't want a full coilover?

I see no reason to use springs on the CR unless it is for aesthetic reasons. Performance wise the only way to improve on the CR shock/spring package is to get a high end coilover as previously mentioned.

I do plan on buying springs for aesthetic reasons soon and I will be going with Swift Spec-R. Fronts are the same rate as stock, and reasons are ~40-50lbs stiffer then stock..

What is your motivation for changing the springs? This may be a better question for R&C.

I love the stock CR suspension, that's why I want aftermarket springs to lower the car by maybe .5"-1". I understand that the CR shocks are valved to the oem springs...I was just wondering if anyone has tried aftermarket springs and what they think of them. Thanks for all your input.

If you're tracking your car, you're better off leaving it as-is until the limiting factor is the car, and not you.
