Default Coilovers on CR

I was wondering how many CR owners has gone the coilovers route and how does it compare to the CR struts and springs?

Just mainly your insight on the subject

How does it change the way the car handle? The geometry of car?

I want to lower my CR but idk which route to go. I read the "Swift R springs" thread and everyone seen to recommend it.

The only thing that bothers me about that is aftermarket springs on stock struts will reduce the life span of the struts in the long run. correct me if im wrong.

I have the Tein SRCs that are valved similar to the Evasive Spec except better. You can always fix geometry with roll center adjusters. Although not necessary, it's recommended if you're lowered enough.

Don't be fooled by spring rate. People think higher spring rate = worse ride, because, frankly, cheap coilovers ride like ass.

I have a set of custom valved SRCs on my CR too at the moment

Ohlins, Moton, KWV3 are probably the best in that order but very expensive. The CR suspension and geometry was a major reason of why I wanted the CR over the base model. With that in mind, I'm reluctant to change that setup which would ultimately change my ride geometry and that "CR handling" that we all rave about all the time. However, seeing adrs2k's Swift Springs in person many times, riding with him on the track, and the close spring rates to that of the OEM CR springs, I'm starting to change my viewpoint towards getting those.

The other option, buy another S2K and set that up with the coil overs for comparison.
