CR Delete firewall plug
 

I'm looking for the firewall Delete plug part number. I have found the delete button and correct belt but am having difficultly with the firewall plug. I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't see to locate this information. Any help is appreciated.

I wasn't able to locate that part number. I didn't want to risk trying to remove a grommet I couldn't replace readily to see if it had an imprinted part # on the backside.

Are you sure that's it? I had that schematic up but that almost looks like a gasket that goes inside the plastic housing where the Air Conditioned vehicle's piping goes into the thermostat??

You may be correct Ira, I looked briefly on Majestic's site trying to find a "firewall" shot with the part with no luck.

It is an obscure part and that schematic may not be to scale... just how it's shown and listed has me question if that's truly the plug or "cap"

Im not 100% sure but it was also pointed out in another thread here after I googled the part #. I didnt see anyone update to confirm. Worst case, youve lost a few bucks plus shipping. However, that part does not show up on previous year s2000s (with ac of course), Only the 08-09..

Good point and observation! Hopefully someone will eventually be able to confirm.

Maybe for a car that was made for a grand total of 59 total cars Honda missed listing it. :ponder: It's not even a rubber component, feels like a very thin foam product.

I just checked a different honda parts website (http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...8-S2A-E01.html).. It shows S2000 CR for fit, if you input a S2000 CR w/ AC it says

I believe the part just above #15 in the diagram (#18) is the plastic shround/grommet for the a/c lines.. So it makes perfect sense, to have a universal diagram for 08-09 models with the blockoff part for delete models added in. You'll notice it also still has the evaporator for the a/c shown, expansion valve, etc.. But aren't listed to buy below.

The parts list on majestic honda also doesnt list the #15 as an option to buy for a model with a/c.. Only when you bring up a delete model.
