CR OEM vs KW V3

CR OEM vs KW V3
Hello,
I recently purchased a CR that came with KW V3s pre installed. I'm debating whether or not they're worth keeping.
Can anyone give me some input on how they compare? Is OEM CR more compliant?
I do track my cars, and drive hard constantly, so I do care about performance, but the car's primary home is on the street.
Ride hight isn't important to me. The overall experience is what I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Joe

My brother has a CR and swapped to the KW's and they are miles better especially on the street. They ride so much smoother than OEM yet feel more planted.
You should definitely keep them.
The CR shocks ride much better with Swift Spec R springs though.

Well as someone who has a CR, bought KWv3's and went back to CR suspension... My impressions were yes, the KWv3 is a quality suspension. It does change the feel of the ride, and likely the KW's are more refined however (for me) much of the draw to the CR is its raw, harshness that you feel driving the car. Definitely drive someone's CR with OEM suspension. The KW's do feel a lot more smooth. They are customizable. They are held in high regard. To me, the CR suspension just fits the car better. Maybe it was the familiarity of driving the car with CR suspension for years. My car felt a lot more mundane with the KW's then when I had the CR suspension back on.

The KW V3 is a great value for the price, but there is better out there. I voted with my money, and I kept the stock CR suspension. Stock rides better on the street unless you REALLY underdamp the KW V3, but then the car will handle like a boat/Lexus.
But, there are very few people who are willing to spend more than what the KW V3 costs.
my $0.02

It is not worth your time/money to upgrade from the CR shocks to KW.
You should be buying something more high end. The CR shocks are just as good, with drawbacks only in relatively unimportant areas. Anyone who tells you otherwise may be on crack.

Joe,
Just another option to throw out to you, should you go with the OEM CR suspension. I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem selling the KW's.
