Default CR Rear Body Brace

Does anyone know if the CR rear body brace is compatible with a non CR s2000 if you remove the soft top?

i want to say you would need to change out your roll hoops too. cuz it looks like the bars had brackets that were welded onto the factory roll hoops.

someone else please chime in if you know otherwise.

I'd verify this but I sold my hoops. It doesn't seem like Honda would go through the trouble of creating new hoops though. Does any part of the soft top hook up to the roll hoops? Perhaps some points normally used on the soft top were just reused? If anyone has their soft top removed in the bay area I have the brace to see if it fits.
