CR Registery
So I was thinking I really like that we have a registry for S2000's, but I believe the CR deserves its own registry. For as rare and special as these cars are, this would be a fantastic way to keep the history of ownership and modifications to them.
The VIN info and semi-current ownership can be pulled from the standard registry. Next would be to fill in additional info such as damage and mods. Anyone else interested? Is it worth going through the effort to do this?

It would be easy to add additional info, to the current roll call. It's whether owners would be willing to share more than they already do and whether or not it would benefit us as a group. Shockwave, I think your idea of a catalog data base has merit, I just doubt we would get full cooperation.

agree...there are people out there that guard their VIN number as if it's their social security number so getting additional information would probably be pretty difficult.

I actually forgot about the roll call, however I still think this is a decent idea as it would be a way to legitimize the listing in an official manner.
Yes, this would be a way to help buyers, but also sellers to prove provenance of their vehicles. If an owner has nothing to hide he/she should be more than willing to give information. The more info available, the better for proving the history of the car if the owner should ever want or need to do so.
It is understandable that some will be apprehensive, but that is the beauty of the boards. Continuously, I see listing of crashed cars and this info can be added to the registry to keep for posterity. Additionally, as people upgrade/downgrade, buy/seller, etc. their cars this info can be added. As time go on, this information will be harder to find.
