Default Cr steering rack stiffer

On the back stiffener is there anything that goes between the bracket and subframe to tie it together?

i did and it does show a bolt so I was going to install a nursert into my subframe but it doesn’t come close enough to the frame. Anyone have a picture they could share?

The CR model has a specific bracket that is welded to the subframe to accommodate the back steering bracket. You cannot buy this bracket from Honda.

I was wanting to accomplish the same thing. I found 1 pic of it on Ebay for sale a while back. CR Subframe. I contacted the seller for more specific pictures and even offered to pay them just for pictures and measurements. No dice. If you do make something and it is functional, I would be very interested in purchasing one from you. Please keep us posted.

A nutsert in the frame with a metal spacer or washers to fill the gap with a long bolt will work well enough, that's all you need. It isn't a structural piece, it stiffens up a bit and helps to transmit more feel through the steering system. The front bar does more for stiffening out of the two bars.

I think that’s what I will do. Make a spacer maybe even a box similar to the oem style and just use a nut sert to install it all with a long bolt.
