CR Top

If I were to remove the softop, is the tonneau cover and hardtop a bolt in swap? I have never seen one up close. How is it mounted?

The hardtop set up is no different than any other s2000. The CR tonneau does have screws, however I think they are direct.

Awesome thanks. Is the tonneau required for running the hardtop?

Conversely, if I were to leave the tonneau off, will it still not work with the softop in? In other words, could I leave the softop in if I didn't use that?

Yeah, definitely. Removing the soft top is not a requirement for a hardtop. If you want the specific CR tonneau then yes the soft top would have to be removed.
