S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

I'm genuinely glad that this subforum can appreciate other cars.

Probably since the majority of the owners here have/had other cars already...
I think I speak for others when I say I consider myself a CAR enthusiast... not just a Honda enthusiast. I appreciate all different types of cars
I consider myself a "driving enthusiast".
I certainly have mad respect for the Boss, and now have a greater understanding of the philosophy behind this car.

Something that left a lasting impression on me was a chat I had with my freshman year roommate's dad. He's a mustang guy, so I asked, him, what he thought of Corvettes. His answer was "If it's fast, I like it" with a huge grin.

He owns 4 mustangs, and daily drives a GT500. He's also my first "big hp" experience. I was driving the GT500 and he gave me shit for not whomping on it in the fwy onramp.

Said roommate is also why I'm into cars today.

Lately, I've been extremely impressed with what Ford has done with the Mustangs. Super high performing cars now. The Boss 302 definitely is no joke. Car is an all arounder. Fast in a straight line, sticky on a road course, according to reviews and magazines, and imo, looks awesome. I've never gotten a chance to drive one, but a good friend of mine sold his GT500 to buy a Boss 302 after test driving his friend's 5.0 Mustang GT. And he isn't just a straight line racer, he likes his cars handling good too. Needless to say, he is extremely happy with his Boss 302. If I had the money, this car would easily be on my "Have to Have" list.
