S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Do you have #173?
I almost bought your car back when N1 Concepts had it last summer and actually sat it in and started it up but never drove it.
It was up for a really good price but I still didn't have the funds yet to buy it
From what I recall it went to a dealer in San Mateo for a way higher price
Yours is a really nice low mileage car but remember it did have some rough edges to it.
Hopefully you got it all sorted out and glad to know that the car is in good hands

My CR is my 3rd S2k; 1st was a 2000 white with red interior, bought in 2001 used. 2nd was my 2003, Suzuka with HT. That was traided for 2002 Maserati Spyder. 3rd was the CR (#367 of 699), I traded the Maserati because of Honda's announcement to stop producing the S2000. I can assure you that it was the best move I could have done. I do love the "S".

I'm really surprised by the amount of first time S owners. I figured most were like me where they loved the S2000 but wanted something more. So what was it 1st timers?

Was the base model not doing it for you?
Did you want one an S2000 and the CR and end of production finally motivate you to pull the trigger?
Love having a special edition of anything (I'm guilty of this)?
Just wanted a hardtop?
Buying one anyway and found a good deal on a CR?

Good questions..I actually was about to mail my check for an '09 GPW black/red down in Florida when the dealership in Ohio emailed me and told me that a "little birdie" told him I was looking at getting another s2000 (at that time , I still had my '05 berlina but was planning on selling). I knew the dealership from various mod days and 15 minutes later, we settled on a price, and I went to pick it up a few days later...

It took me longer to go buy painters tape then it did for me to make the deal on the car The color of the car never mattered to me... from the drivers seat, my foot and hands could care less what color the car was

first timer here
I wanted the CR cuz it already has mostly what I wanted to add to my first S2000
already has a lip/sticky tire/wing/reduced weight/hardtop
I really like this gauge cluster the best of all model years
oh yeah the Apex Blue Pearl was a factor too

CR is my 1st s2k
Me and the wife test drove a few s2000s and we both liked the CR the most.
