S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

I'd like to thank you both for all of the help and hospitality you both have shown me in the past few weeks. We've always been friends, but I can't tell you guys how nice it's been to get together and work on the car(s). I really appreciate all the help you both have been.

The more I hang out with you guys the more I really regret settling for a GPW CR. Who knows, maybe one day an opportunity will present it self and I can swap this thing for an ABP CR. Until then I'm going to enjoy this thing and get it as minty fresh as humanly possible.

I imagine whatever dents you have on the hard top really need to have the head liner removed. There is just no good way to get the tools under the headliner and clean up the metal without removing it.

Let me know when you're heading back into town and I'll check it out.

Thank you both! I love my AP1 and I always enjoy hearing feedback on it.

With any luck the CR will be just as clean, but it will be built with a pure functional oriented direction. I never want to modify this car past the point of being useable. It's very important to me that I have a car that I can take on group drives and events without constantly worrying about it, or the parts on it.

Thank man! That is really a large part of the reason why I picked it up. I wanted a car that would be a good project that I could really clean up and turn around. It's really coming along, and when I'm done with it this thing is going to be pristine. There is very little wear anywhere on the car. If you didn't see how many miles were on the odometer you would never know this thing had been driven.

No worries, Feezy. You could honestly customize a refrigerator and I'd be interest in the build thread.

Great to hear that you found your CR! Looks like I am going to be moving back to AZ in a couple weeks. We should meet up.

That's just what I need, another super clean ABP to be jealous of.

I'd love to meet up, give me a heads up when you're back in town.
