green happy light

I have only been in two s2k's 2008 and newer. Both cr's. I thought the green max power dash light was on the 2 newest years ,all models but a stroll in the owners manual leaves me to think it's only on CR's . Does someone want to shed so light on this?

The peak-power indicator is CR-specific.

If it's flashing you are not finished, keep going! LOL

Unfortunately this does not "blink" when the ECU processes our peak HP, it will flash any time over a certain RPM regardless of HP being made. But its fun none the less and lets you know when you're getting close to red line.

I shift way after the light disappears.... yes it disappears if you go over 8k :(

I haven't red lined in awhile (its 115 outside, give me a break!!!) but when I do, I try to time it right after the lights go out. I find you have a split second from when the lights go out until you hit the rev limiter :D

i haven't actually checked this yet but does the light change when it goes on if there is any engine management or mods done that move the "max power"? or does it behave just like a shift light and set to go off at a specific rpm regardless.

I'm pretty sure it just acts as a shift light at a specific RPM
