It's great to see you posting Mocky, try some bug and tar remover on those "track marbles" and a little clay bar.

i should probably have pointed out that i do have a 3M clear bra on the front so i wasn't too worried... although i did scrape the bottom and i can't do anything about that part

next spring, i plan on doing a thorough job of detailing the car... probably about time i get to that

I don't know where you gleamed that from this thread, but no, the matte black exposed plastic is not removable.

I didn't think he "gleaned" that from the post. I thought he was just asking a simple question. The black, unpainted portion of the lower bumper skin/CR "lip" isn't so much matte black as it is simply the raw, as molded, bumper cover plastic left unpainted at the factory. It is masked off and body color paint is applied to the upper portion only. The entire bumper lower "lip" is removable from the main bumper skin via bolts under the bumper front edge.

Does anyone know what the actual hardware is? I don't feel like spending $100 or even close to it on some screws. I have an OEM CR bumper and lip, I just need to put them together. Appreciate the help.

Post number 7 within this thread has a link to the actual hardware (Honda) for mounting the lip. Frankly once you pay for the gas, your time and the hardware from a supplier that $100 is actually pretty good. Not to say you cannot find some cheap hardware that will work, personally I like things done right and attached properly.

Not really at all. It would take me less than an hour to piece together a hardware set equivalent to what Honda has and I'd probably spend ~$15. Paying $60+ for a set of nuts and bolts that work exactly the same as hardware store nuts and bolts is insane.
