S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

How far did you go for your CR?

Default How far did you go for your CR?

I know some of you searched long and hard and traveled across vast expanses of land for your CR. I, on the other hand, requested a quote on Honda's website and got a call within an hour from a dealership 12 miles away. What's odd about this is that I have a delete model. Not sure what Honda was thinking when they decided to put 1 of 59 delete models in downtown Chicago (large population but crappy roads and not many people drive. Probably would have sold easier if it were in the suburbs). Bought the car 10 days after I got the quote (went to look at it one weekend, took a week to make a decision and get my Ap1 prepared for trade). I originally just priced one out for fun

Distance: 12 miles
Time to research, find, take delivery: 10 days

My local dealership had 6 CRs, but I drove about 60 miles to the closest GPW available to me

Sold my '04 and thought I had a local CR to buy the following week. Deal fell through and after a lot of stress pulled the trigger and just bought a CR! Figured once I got the car out west, it would be easy to sell if it didn't live up to my standards/expectations. Car came to me in rough shape, but I have since fixed almost all of the issues, and restored the car to almost show room standards

Bought my car site unseen after spending 5 weeks negotiating and trying to find a car. Sent money and waited for my car to be shipped 1,500 miles to me!

1 week of search/negotiations. Test drove GPW but the price was too high. Drove 100 miles away. Test drove BB. Paid.

Should have bought the GPW. GPW is faster

Since the salesman told me to push it, I was convinced the car was pretty abused. In fact, the lip was already scratched and I'm pretty sure they didn't ricer their entrance on the driveways. Hence, I chose to buy the BB, especially since the price difference before all the BS was more than 3k.

Drove mine back from Chicago to Arizona. Right car at the right price

I was actually looking for a BB and went with the ABP due to the amazingly good deal I found. First time seeing it I relized I made the right choice
