S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

I have some sad news to share

So sad. I only briefly met him at the cr meet, but we did talk for a little bit. Stand up guy. My condolences to sandramc and family. RIP friend.

Thanks Steven, I just tried to send you an email. Please let me know of you got it. I have the best neighbors, they are washing the CR right now after jump starting it as it hadn't been driven in a month. We have a custom car cover from Honda but I'm a bit worried if we ever get rain. I have to say, hearing that roar when she came to life brought a tear, or two, to my eyes.

It was great hearing from you Sandra, and to know the CR is being cared for and used. As for the battery issue I would purchase a battery tender so the next time you want to drive it she will start. They are easy to install and disconnect and will not over charge your battery. Here's hoping you have many pleasant miles in the CR.

After going back and forth I decided to keep Jim's baby for at least a year. I really do not like driving it top on. So I built the PVC hardtop stand and spent about a month cleaning out our one car garage. And finally, today, it fits! He might not be happy about what I did with some of the 'stuff' in manland, but I know he's smiling down on the CR in the garage.... But not to be locked up forever... Next week I'll drive her down to Big Sur! (I'm not sure how to post pix, but trust me, it's a tight fit)
