S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Euro cluster?
In all the countries other than North America the S2000 continued to go by the AP1 designation and retained the F20C until much later in the production cycle. All the other changes, bumpers, transmission, interior, ect happened at the same time, but the original motor remained for a while. There is a wikki that breaks down exactly what, when, and where things changed.

^ thanks Feezy, MY 06 AuDM as clarified. We never had the Type S OR CR released in Australia and the AP1 (F20C) remained throughout the 99-09 years. Though all the AP2 upgrades followed the changes. Eg. I also have VSA.
Any parts( Type S & CR) in Oz have ALL been imported.

Nice, glade I have found this thread of AP1's with CR fronts

I have been wanting to convert only the front bumper of my AP1 to the CR, I found a picture of it on ebay and I forgot if the owner was selling the car or what, but it was a relatively stock with a drop AP1 with CR front as shown on bottom.

Since I came across that, I want to do a CR front bumper/lip on my AP1 and make it look like a "time attack S2K" as the 2001 model is pretty aggressive

If you're going to do a CR clone, at least get the right wheels.

Wow two threads? One here and one in the gallery section.

But anyway, I did a quick photoshop work on my car. Changed it to a blue soft top and added a Type S wing. I might end up doing this. The blue top looks great on the Type S (AP2) but then again, I have an AP1...
