S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Default Mugen Hardtop question

I'm asking this question in here since it's kinda CR specific. I have a base 07 s2k with a Mugen frp top and oem hardware. I recently removed my soft top, which is causing a fitment issue on the passenger side. It seems as if the top has shifted in that direction, which is causing the window to jam up into the molding when I lower the window (door close) and then raise it back up. I have been advised that I am missing this CR specific bracket,

86121-S2A-A00023001LINK SET, R. BRACKET SOFT TOP
86171-S2A-A00024001LINK SET, L. BRACKET SOFT TOP

which would solve my fitment issue. Can someone validate this claim? Has anyone else ran into this issue?

That was happening to me when I first installed the hardtop. There were a few adjustments done on come brackets on the back and the actually window was adjusted to move forward. I was told to let it sit in the sun so it can mold properly. Wala, no more bunching up.
