From other posts over the past year or two it appears this fabric is not possible to get anymore.

It's quite possible the fabric is still available somewhere in Malaysia, Singapore or China. All the leads I had indicated there might be still be some sources overseas, but I've had no luck so far. There are actually quite a few fabrics calling themselves, "TomCat", the same pattern just different colors.

I'd love to get my hands on some of this. Previous owner ripped the seat and patched it with some black material.

If you feel like spending some money you could just order a new section.

The Tomcat yellow fabric is not discontinued. The seats are, but the fabric is still available just not in the US. Recaro, the manufacturer/distributor is still making different variations of yellow seats with the same fabric which I've personally seen in the Autobacs store of Japan, but a close friend of mine who works for Automat a reputable upholsterer here in NY told me that Recaro has stopped distributing the fabric in North America unfortunately. If you know someone in Japan you can definately get it or keep searching these Japanese car forums, there are people still selling them.

This isn't "TomCat" fabric, but I kinda like the Carbon fiber Caution Yellow myself, but I'd have to see a sample. I won't be changing my seats, but i have other projects I might consider.
