S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Can you please explain how this vehicle is salvage?
Sure; in 2009 there was a reported accident on 3/10/2009, mileage 12,215, the VA DMV branded the title; at the time as a REPOSSESSION - which was sent by the insurance co to auction. The Manheim Baltimore auction announced it as frame damage, so regardless of the type of branding AT THAT TIME, it was salvaged. It appears it would have been salvaged however the repossession took priority with the listing on the title. At that time, carfax was also clean and qualified for carfax buyback.... i.e. carfax had no record of the concerns. There were numerous issues with the car from first-hand accounts in 2009 as well from a bad repaint to mismatched panels that didn't fit well.

You guys are all wrong. This tile is clean. It was never "REBUILT" nor was it ever "Salvaged"

The front hood, fender, and bumper have been repaired. This does not mean it was "salvaged". The accident has affected the frame on the vehicle, hence why frame damage/unibody was announced by the auction. In the state of Maryland where it was initially titled and sold out of never had a "SALVAGE" title. This vehicle was first owned in Pennsylvania never having a "SALVAGE" title, SOLD to a resident who registered in Maryland, never having a "salvage" title. The vehicle now has a Virginia title and does not say anywhere on there "SALVAGE"

I am the current owner of this vehicle, I OWN the car, and I am saying it is not salvage because I have the actual title of the vehicle. For all of you sitting behind the computer who are interested in this vehicle and come across this thread that states this vehicle is "SALVAGE" Keep in mind this is being labeled by a whole bunch of people whoa are sitting behind the computer with nothing better to do with their lives rather than make a list of cars that have been wrecked.

Please get a life....This car is not salvage.

If you want to get a career in labeling cars as salvage please go work for an insurance company or the dmv....

CLEAN TITLE NOT SALVAGE

[/quote] you say it "appears it WOULD have been salvaged"---let me ask you a questions? Who are you to deem this car salvage? It "appears". Have you seen the vehicle? Do you have before and after pictures? Do you know what took place in the accident?
Please back your facts up. If You don't have any, take off this vin number from the list.

here is a list of companys I think you should work for since you know everything.

THIS IS WHY YOUR WRONG. THIS VEHICLE WAS NEVER TITLED IN VIRGINIA UNTIL 2016. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS 80K.

LIKE I SAID BEFORE & NOW. GET A LIFE. AND TAKE OFF MY VIN FROM THIS WEBSITE.

The community board is a board by the community where members will contribute, relay and advise what they feel is important; in turn to foster positive discussion. You are operating a business, please feel free to list the vehicle the way you deem fit. If you feel it's solid, clean history, etc, then that's how it should be listed if you have no reason to believe otherwise.

Regarding the posts above, if you feel the need to engage in personal accusations, PM myself or the other moderator of the forum (ADRS2K) privately. Anything other than productive discussion has no place on a public forum.

Take down my vin that's all I want. Then you can go back to looking for other vins that are salvaged.

I'm happy to do that and meet in the middle essentially. The information originally posted obviously was enough of a concern someone felt the need to relay that. To your point, all the data on a car you're selling is showing you otherwise, which you have every right to believe.

I think what makes the most sense (and feel free to let me know your thoughts here or privately) is to remove the VIN from the salvage list, create it's own VIN specific thread and list out the time stamped posts regarding relevant condition of the car and let people draw their own conclusions on if the earlier reports from 7 years ago are substantiated?

If you think that makes the most, unbiased sense, I'll go through and remove the VIN from every post in this salvage specific thread.
