S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

So after searching for a new car have you ever thought...

Default So after searching for a new car have you ever thought...

So lately, i am looking for another s2000...

I had an 07 silverstone that i bought new back then.. sold it because my sister gave me her X5 - and i didnt need 2 cars.

then that broke down and i traded it in.. and bought my first BB CR....

2011 i bought my first home - and sold my CR because i thought i needed money for home funding and house projects.

Now that im all settled in a new home, and everything is dialed. I am looking for another S2k...

Every time i search and find a Good S2 for sale... I keep thinking to myself... Man its just not a CR..

For those that have owned multiple s2ooo's and then own a CR.. have you guys just think man.. i just rather have a CR or no S2k really compares - it must be a CR?

thats where im at rite now.

and i gotta find another CR. I painfully regret selling mine =(

pic of my old CR that I enjoyed so much

The pinnacle of the S2000.

If you're gonna own one it may as well be the most desirable model.

I am way too invested in mine to swap / upgrade now. My semi-clone will do.

I am the opposite - I severely miss my 06 (sold her last month). I am selling my CR now & not attached to it at all. I don't see a big difference between the two to purchase one over the other. I don't buy into the whole limited production marketing. Just IMO.

The only reason I miss my '05 over my CR at times, and the only reason I sometimes wish I still had it over my CR is simply one thing: the soft top. There is something to be said about being able to go top down on the fly that I do miss a LOT. Not enough so that I would get rid of my CR, I enjoy my CR in every other way over my old AP2, but that soft top is sorely missed.

Yeah. A soft top would be nice.

I look at the cr and the standard s2000s as two different tools. The cr is like a glock 17, it's perfect as the designer intended it to be - mess with it and you'll regret it.

The standard s2000 is like a standard m1911. Very good out of the box but with a bit of tuning it starts open up.

I'm looking forward to my future ap1 build - supercharged or turbo
, aero, 265 or 275 square, oversized fenders, square 17x10, bbk, mugen cf hardtop, 3 way Ohlins or src, recaro profi spg, harness bar with 6 point harness

But I have to be patient as I have yet to be able to squeeze every last second out of the cr yet.
