S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

I'll find out as soon as I get the install done, if they work with the Bilsteins. A mechanic told me they did, but until I see for myself, I don't know for sure.

Crazy the weight difference between the Mugen and the OEM parts!

Isn't it though? Supposedly a little over 13 pound weight savings which makes it over half the weight over the OEM one. It makes you wonder what the true reason behind it is...

The heat shield can be removed.

Really glad you're enjoying the car! I had no clue there were the issues that it had, I would've told you!

You were the second owner. You worked close to where you lived so I'm not blaming you.

The paint just needed some tlc and the wheels were curbed pretty badly. Mechanically, with the exception of the rusting that happened from being on the east coast, everything is fine! A lot of those parts are getting replaced anyways.

The heat shield can be removed.

I took my mugen header and sent it over to JetHot to have it coated. It looks incredible, and yes, you can run it without the heat shield. I figured that Mugen designed it with a heat shield, so I'll keep the heat shield

Good luck with the build..

Thanks Mocky...

I took a look at the JetHot sight to see some of their work. Looks really nice. How much did it cost you all together (shipping both ways and coat)? Which did you choose and why?

If you don't mind me asking: where did you get your Mugen exhaust from?
