Actually, I still regularly eat cheap food.
$5 footlong most working days will be both lunch and dinner.

I'll usually do a nice meal once a week or so, but the rest of the days are all sub $10 meals. I had a turkey sandwich for lunch today. On Rye. With red onions, alfalfa, pepper, mustard, lettuce, and mayo.
Nothing you can't make on your own...

i have both:
if i had to pick one, based on personal factors (location, what i do with my car, living situation, etc.), i would probably turn towards the CR. i like to drive cars to enjoy them, and the enjoyment factor certainly goes to the CR.

I made the mistake last year of ditching my 06 LBP S2000(I was the original owner), and bought a new '12 STi wagon in white. Loved the car, but after a few months I realized I was missing something. So I ditched it and got into another S. Would love to own another one as a fun family car, but that just won't happen anytime soon considering we already have a '10 Pilot & '13 Fit.

My biggest concern is if I can drive the CR comfortably. I'm 6'2 and pretty slim. The regular AP2 seats hold me way better than the STI. And i only live 2 miles from work(seriously) so mileage wont be a problem. Just not sure if I can take such a loss trading the STI in.
