You definitely want to REMOVE the emblem to paint it. I sanded mine with 500 grit sandpaper, primered and then sprayed 3 coats of flat black paint.

Yup a few guys were giving me a hard time about the badge...haha! When the picture was taken I just put the trunklid on from an actual donor CR so forgot to remove it.
Anyways, the CR badge is now gone in favor of:

Its actually a pretty small badge, 3"-4" at most. Just thought of it as that was the badge I would have used if I ever got around to boosting my last car.
