don't get me wrong. i, too, think that having alarm is good to have but let the installer know that you don't want them drilling hole to your dashboard or radio door or door panel or ETC.. if you don't tell them they will drill hole anywhere they feel like because many don't know value of the car as much as you are.

agreed. I've got a clifford 5906x installed with the GPS and paging system and I know where my car is and if someone is driving it, how fast it's going and where it's going. It's a good "peace of mind" thing.
