Who uses an x-brace on a CR (with OEM CR suspension)

Yes you will see benefits from the shock/spring/roll bar combo. Probably the biggest thing you will feel is the increased roll bar diameter. It makes a huge difference. Also the increased rebound in the rear shocks gives the CR that very taut and aggressive feel.

this is not from expierence but my opinion is that given the 50/50 weight dist in our cars or 49/51...and the non square tires, increasing the front spring rate that much above the rear rate will increase understeer quite a bit. i think that unless you went to s a square setup the car would push far too much and really no fun

For example, when I have my exhaust on, and 1/4 tank of gas, I'm basically subtracting 100 lbs from the BACK of the car.

i know they are close to 50/50 from the factory. im well aware of that. the DBW models however are listed at 49/51. no idea why. can only imagine that somewhere theres like 5lbs more of electronics skewing it.

Anyone else running stiffening bars, specifically an x-brace on an otherwise stock Cr suspension. I've got the CR springs/shocks/sways with a strut tower bar. The STB was installed before the Cr parts so I couldn't tell the difference. thinking about getting the whiteline x-brace though. Would you?

strut tower bar is a waste of money, the cross member (oem) below maintains the car fine. I have the spoon x brace and it did help a little with turn in on the car, it is a bit more stable in the front.

I have the whiteline on my CR (as well as Cusco U brace and Subframe bars)
The whiteline definitely helps -- bumps in the road feel much more solid and absorbed via suspension, and the chassis doesn't get that jarring feeling. I love it.

Installed the whiteline and went on a mountain drive. The whiteline + CR suspension does feel subjectively better. Turning feels a bit more crisp/direct, the car feels more stable/flat over bumps and through bumpy turns. Makes for a good mountain carver upgrade. I recommend it.
