S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Who's the new owner?

I doubt he's worried about losing money because of his "chopped fenders" when he has a 991 GT3 RS in his garage lol

People with money didn’t get that way by losing money, I’m sure he doesn’t like losing money regardless of the reason. I wouldn’t have rolled them personally.

He wouldn't have had a choice.

Either you roll them professionally or the wheels will roll them for you.

I wouldn’t run those wheels, easy. But it’s whatever, not my car, hopefully he makes a good return.

I had the same exact wheels and similar tires. Personally they were worth the roll in order to pull off the desired look and performance.

Absolutely! Rolling fenders certainly isn't for everyone and I do see that nor do i knock those who choose not too. It's personal preference.

With that said this car was sold for near $75k. That in of itself is truly astonishing.

Yeah it really is, car was very clean no doubt, but it goes to show you what a little publicity will do for the price tag, good for him.

And on an unrelated note, your Porsche is beautiful, I’m currently looking at a used Cayman S or a Lotus exige to sit next to my s2000. Looking at yours makes me lean Cayman.

$75K? Good golly miss molly. I would have bought Sterley Sackey's GPW for $70K instead. Yeah, pretty sure it sold because of the celebrity status on YouTube.

And just for the record, my initial post was not to defame this car. I'm merely a crazy dude who just likes cars in their original form. I probably represent a minority in the S2000 community.

No lie i follow Matt pretty religiously on youtube and his facebook group. Most of my car washing gear came from him lol. His popularity im sure played a large role in the sale of his CR. As far as him having nearly $75k into it is not farfetch'd.
