100w, heat concern; maybe it isn't? Because HBs are typically run for that long? Also, because you'd use them at night, the air temps are cooler as well? |
After leaving my car on jack stands for about a week (granted “while I was in there” to detail my wheels, and fender wells), I kept my OEM high beam H1 bulbs. After decided to get halogen ones, it turns out one of them was broken (Slyvania) out of the box! I didn’t even realize I had swapped out my original HID bulbs to OSRAM NBs, but for the hell of it, I swapped in the CBBs.
Also addressed some cheap LED bulbs that were flickering for the city lights, and also went back to halogen. If anyone is looking for a promising PNP H1 LED solution, these look pretty good: https://www.diodedynamics.com/h1-sl2...ulbs-pair.html Diode Dynamics seem to be a reputable brand in the industry. For now, I’m going to hold off as I spent WAY too much time on lighting. I’ve def become an expert on removing the fender liner and changing out front facing bulbs. |
