I deal and install Compustar alarms.. I live by them.. I'm suprised that they arnt too popular on this board.. they are insanely popular on subaru forums..

Even if you have no need for the RS I still say go with compustar, they do sell others without RSs..

The Compustar 2WSS system has over a mile range

Funky, thanks for the reply Actually i went and saw a friend and fellow NY-Metro S2K member this past weekend and he has a Compustar. I thought it was pretty cool, and if they offer one without the RS, then i would be interested i think Although, i dont know of any place aroudn here that sells/installs them. Do they have a website

A car stereo shop told me the same company made Clifford and Viper and Cobra, Viper is the top line then come Clifford then Cobra, is this BS or is this true fact ? just thought PortugueseS2K might also like to know.

What is the proximity thing? It warns the person around the car or something when they come close to touch it or something. If it is what do you do in a parking lot where people need to get in their car parked next to you and your car is threating them to go off if they dont move away?

Since you dont have a member status i have to ask, do you OWN a S2K acido if so, do you use the Clifford remotes OR in conjuntion with the Honda remotes Andy, thats exactely what it is. And as far as going to parking lots, thats what my "Daily-driver" POS car is for dude. I dont drive the S into parking lots, malls or to get grocerys.
