Default Alpine Type R speaker suggestions

I'm looking to upgrade my speakers in my 02 AP1 since the passenger side is popped. I gave my mind set on Alpine type R speakers but I have not decided if I should go with the coaxial version or components. If I was to go with the components I would wire the tweeters to the stock tweeter locations on the door panels. I thought about also getting the coaxial version and then buying the type R tweeters separately then hooking up those as well to the stock locations. Would it be a waste of money if I did that? What are some suggestions? Thanks!!

Buy the components and put the tweeters in the stock locations. No brainer.

yes it would be a waste of time and money. get the components and install tweeters in stock location. combination of coaxial and additional tweets would equal overwhelming highs. like head ache amount of high frequencies.
