Android Headunit
 

Hi there I was wondering if anyone had installed an Android Headunit into their S2000.
I currently have a VW Polo where I've put a double din Android Headunit in it and I'm going to find it hard to not have one when I have an S2000. I've been looking at Single Din one's where a screen pops out but I have a couple of questions.

Will the screen get restricted?
Will the dash controls work? (In my polo it had a decoder in the back so it could talk to the ECU.)
Has anyone tried this before?
Are there ones with Android 4.4?

I am pretty sure the dash is still in the way with a pop-out screen unit. Haven't seen too many double-din S2000 without doing a lot of custom work on the dash.

exactly what I was thinking about...I have not seen any posts about a success install of a single din with flip up radio. I do know Pioneer make head unites (double) that are compatible with both Apple Car Play and Android Auto. I know you are probably thinking about putting in a actual head unit with an android OS, which head unit are you looking at?
