Oh, i think i misunderstood you. so your saying in front of the inner bezel but still behind the door?
ok so, MAYBE. measured and the width is good but height is extremely close.

I just picked up the housing 8.8 and I can’t get my dash controls to work.
I have the Wiring harness adapter all hooked up with the correct colors but no matter what I do I can’t get the controls to work. Does anyone have pictures of their wiring?

green/red of the car to the KEY1 of the radio. dont use key2 or key ground. the mute wont work unless you use a relay to flip the polarity.

I swapped displays with waveshare 7.9”, with screen motherboard relocation to make extra room for display ( it fit with minor stress on the screen ) I think with little sanding to the dashboard it will fit perfectly
