Great device for adding USB charging port to your car

Just installed this in my S. I was looking for a port to add to my passenger footwell that would do away with having to use the center console outlet. This did the trick for sure... voltage conversion and all, and quite cheap too!

I hooked mine up to the constant 12V accessory outlet, ran it through the stereo cavity and over to the passenger footwell. If I get ambitious, I might think about doing a custom install to make it flush with one of the panels.

Best price I found (sub-$15 shipped):

Looks better than I expected. Only concern is if its possible to make it look flush?

It would be much easier to flush mount on an AP1 or AP2 04-06. The footwell panel on 06+ is pretty bulky in back and there isn't much room for modification. I'm going to play around with it though and see what I can come up with.

^Agreed, while it isn't as big of a sore thumb as I anticipated it doesn't look half bad.

Is the mount just screwed into that side piece? I think I see screws but not for certain

No screws in mine for now -- I simply shoved the mounting lip between the panels and it's somewhat firm. Not perfect though so I'm really going to get creative on a flushmount solution

Welcome! You'll enjoy it -- wiring is the perfect length too. Let us know if you decide to flush mount yours!
