head unit/subs
 

Hey guys so i got a new head unit and a sub put in me and my buddy did it and when i had bought the car the head unit would take an extra min to turn on, no normal and once i put the new head unit it it did the same thing for about 2 weeks and then was fine no problems for 6 months once i installed my sub we turned it on and it shut off, so we did a lot of trouble shooting and found out the factory power wire is defective and draws no power so im going to have to wire my head unit to another source. I havnt found anything at the moment has anyone ran into this problem i have an 05 if so any feed back would be awesome thank.
We ran it to an always running power source so the sub works and isnt drawing to much power to blow anything and no fuses were blown we checked everything.

Does anyone have access to an 05 wiring diagram i went to a Honda dealership but it wasn't that much help they only had an 06-09 electrical book and Ive tried looking on the internet nothing so far.
