Default Headrest speakers?

Firstly Hello to all, as this is my first post.
What are your opinions on headrest speakers?
do they work?
I am thinking of installing some custom brackets and speakers
and would like to hear your opinions..

Cheers Greggs..

The first thing I upgraded was my door speakers and head unit, made a huge difference. do this first and see if you still need/want headrest speakers.

Many thanks.
I have an Alpine HU and a pair of Alpine 5.25" speakers in the doors.
may see if i can squeeze some 6.5" speakers in the doors and see how that sounds... cheers.

I have the integrated speakers in the rollbars and they sound like they are underpowered and underwater. I have the fade biased towards the rear to help some. I do not know if the speakers in the donut hole in the rollbar are effective or not, but i heard it was a waste. I would think the best bet is to have the integrated rollbar speakers which are upgraded.

The first thing I would do is read the FAQs.
The second thing I would do is use the SEARCH.
The third thing, I'll do for you. (Move this to the electronics subforum).

those speakers are a waste. i never understood the point of having them because whether the tops is down or up or fade a little more to the rear i can never hear them to notice a difference.

DSCLegend said, " upgrade the door speakers" and you will notice a difference because honda put the worse audio combo in the S considering the price. for $34k it would've been nice if it came with a decent set of speakers.

Good door speakers properly powered by a good amp is what you want.
