hid highbeam to stock
 
my s2000 came with hids and i need it to go back to stock so i can certify it. is there certain wiring i have to buy to convert it back to stock bulbs?
any help would be greatly appreciated

Came from where with HID high beams? Stock low beams are HID.

the prevous owner installed them.

If these are $100 Ebay 'HIDS" it probably just needs to pull them and add standard bulbs. No requirement for DRLs in the US I'm aware of.

i tried pulling the bulb off the wiring to fit the h1s and broke the hid bulb. i dont know if it was a ebay hid kit. i do need the drl to work for canada laws unfortunately

Assuming it was a Canada car to start with, then some wiring work must have been done to bypass or remove the pulser module, which will have to be re-instated to get the DRLs back even after you remove the HIDs and put the standard H1s back in.

Which model year? Canadian or US car? IIRC, US cars didn't come with DRL until 2006.
