Default How to disable the SCV ( Speed Control Volume) ?

Ok I'm trying to make it short . I bought my AP2 with the aftermarket Alpine CDE-HD148BT deck and my question is how do I turn off the SCV ? It's kind of annoying when im driving when the volume just goes up and down . I've read a few threads about this SCV and how to disable it by holding the mode + CHAL so I decided to give it try but it didn't seem to work . If any one of you guys how to disable it please shed some lights on it .

Thanks in advance guys !!!

Mode + Ch toggles between two preprogrammed SCV settings - if one of the is OFF then it will
turn it off, but if it is two different response curves, it'll just switch between them.
Here's the DCI manual with instructions on how to program it.
