I have a couple of JBL studio monitors which need restoration. Reconing the speakers, plus R&R the crossovers. I'll get around to them, one day.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes, I do home systems as well.

I have some pictures in my gallery here... https://www.s2ki.com/g/album/6239882

Replying to the OP''s PM...

The Arc Audio variant is this but with the car audio grill... https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.co...weeter-4-ohms/

This is the NVX variant... https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.co...-dome-tweeter/

You can actually use the same crossover if you'd like because there's only a small efficiency difference of about 2-2.5db (the larger one is the more efficient one)
I've been messing around with SB Acoustics stuff for a few years now and know a bit about them. It's really great stuff! I want to get some Satori line of product from them to try some day (their ultra high end stuff).

let me know if you have any other questions or if I can be any more help!

Have a good one Sir!

Brian

I'm the guy from the other forum.

The NVX tweets fit just fine, and are half the cost of the Arc version for (literally) the exact same driver. I just shaved down the posts and a few other plastic bits on the tweeter grille, took the metal grille off the tweeter, and fabricated a 3D printed mount to hold them in place. Looks 100% stock. The passenger side has tons of room behind it, and the driver side pushes slightly against the CCF I have on the door.

Other than that, I have some Stereo Integrity TM65 mkIIs in the stock locations, and a 10" Sundown SD-3 in the passenger footwell, all being powered by an Alpine PDX-V9. It gets loud enough to completely drown out road and wind noise at 70 with the top down, but is smooth enough to think that you can talk over it...until you try.

Thanks, for post on tweeter fit. The 10" Sundown SD-3 doesn't interfere with the passenger feet?
