installation hold ups
Doing my install and hit a few hitches. Where to drill firewall for 4wg power feed. How to remove head unit without tool Ida x001. How to run speaker cable to each door. Also fitting reverse parking sensors and struggling to workout how to get cables back to the boot trunk.
It's in the How-To sticky above, but here is a direct link, https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/248...new-ice-setup/
I don't think you need to drill a hole through the firewall, there is a location near the pedals through a grommet.
The speaker wire to the doors was the biggest pain for me. Coat hanger and soap eventually worked while pushing and pulling the wires through. I put the crossovers in the door.
To get the wires to the trunk just take the seats and behind the seat out. It's much easier to get everything through to the trunk. While you are at it run an ipod cord into the center compartment if you are going to put something in there. I drilled a smole hole to get the cable through inside of there.
I just had something loose and took apart a lot of the car to find out the tweeter fell out of its holder somehow, glue that sucker in I guess. And forgot I never soldered the door sub wire, which was the eventual loose problem. Not to mention my tweeter was pointing the wrong way.
