Default iphone aux interface questions!

i came across this interface searching the forums and i had a couple questions. I want to use my stock stereo and be able to use my iphone to play music.

i found this one and it says its only for 00-06
has anyone used this on an 07 or later or found anything that works with an 07?

Early and late s2000's had headunits from different manufacturers so the CD changer port (where the adapter plugs in)
has a different connector (and probably a different control protocol), so if the adapter maker doesn't specify it for
your car, it almost certainly wont work.

I would use the USA Spec Bluetooth or iPod Adapter

I have used the same one for an AP1, Ap2 05 and my 08 CR

If you have a 5> or greater iPhone you will need to add the apple 30 pin to lightning adapter

Here are some of the benefits:
Better Quality sound
change tracks with controls
track info
charges your iPhone
phone calls (bluetooth version)
1 cable for charging music

I'd suggest using a known brand of interface that indicates that it does support your year. USA Spec is a good brand but at that price you might want to consider just replacing the head unit with a device that has a built-in interface.

Odds are probably unlikely that a sufficient number of people have used a random no-name interace like the one in the OP.
