Lucid Multi-radio Dash Controller

I just switched the stock cd player for a pioneer dvd player DVH-P7000. I used the lucid Multi radio dash controller. The installer said this was an awesome device. He said most aftermarkets controllers don't work that good, and was very impressed at how well this one worked. Thumbs up to LUCID.
Thanks, Vince

Is there any delays with the Lucid harness ?

vpnrhsc 03-22-2003 06:15 AM

No delays! It works as good as the buttons on the HU or the Remote.

DongTran 03-24-2003 06:49 AM

depends on what kind of delays you're talking about :)

I placed an order last night, 3 week backorder...

edit: he says some should be coming in by the end of the week - wow these things are popular

Talk to anybody who has this feature connected - it is not annoying. As a matter of fact, after using it for a week you will think NOT having it is annoying.

I get a smile on my face every time I drive my car because of the automatic volume control. I used to constantly fiddle with volume control & now I realize the value of Lucid's product everytime I come to a stop & the volume drops to an acceptable level without having to touch anything. The best audio upgrade money I have spent.

I just installed the harness yesterday and was wondering if any of you using a Pioneer Premier HU experienced problems with the channel button?

I've got the same harness and a Premier 7400MP. All the dash buttons work properly but the "Channel" button doesn't skip to the next track when listening to CD's or MP3's.

The "Channel" button does seem to be sending out a IR signal since it seems to change from FM1 to FM2 to FM3 ect... in tuner mode. (I thought it was supposed to change the channel from 1 through 8 not source modes)

I set the dip switches to 1 down, 2 down, and 3 up when I installed it. Is the lucid harness not 100% compatible with Premier HU's?

Ch changes radio bands. Hold MODE and press vol. +/- for tracks

Thanks Lucid! That's exactly what I was trying to have it do. Are there a whole bunch of other DCI functions that I can look up somewhere on your site that requires the use of a combination of the dash buttons?

Great products BTW:)

I recently installed the DCI for use with my Alpine 7995. So far, I love it! It works perfectly, and it's so nice to be able to go BACK a CD track, not just forward. Great job, Modifry.
